Senior Clinical Psychologist
Full-time or Part-time

About us

Novita is one of SA’s oldest, largest and most trusted community-based disability service organisations delivering life-changing support, services and equipment for children, young people and adults. We offer a wide range of therapy and assessment services, tailored for individuals and groups, as well as the latest in assistive technology and equipment. Our psychology team consists of psychologists with practice endorsements (or working towards) in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, educational psychology; and health psychology. Our behaviour support team also includes speech pathologists; social workers; educators and occupational therapists.

 

About you

We are interested in candidates that have the following:

  • Experience in developing, leading and mentoring high performance teams
  • Demonstrated success in clinical supervision
  • Extensive experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention and support
  • Highly developed clinical report writing standards including behaviour support plans.
  • Can-do attitude to managing clients with complex conditions
  • Acute awareness of Safe environments for children and adults with proactive approach to risk identification

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Registration as a psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience post full registration as a Psychologist
  • Hold status as a Psychology of Australia, Board-approved supervisor or be willing to complete these requirements within 3-months of employment

A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Generous Salary Packaging allowances are available to all Novita employees.
